Senior Rock Mechanics Engineer

The position holder will perform rock mechanics related technical engineering work during all phases of the well projects in order to ascertain safe and efficient operations. Demonstrate strong commitment to the HSSE and quality standards within Aker BP. Provide assurance and technical support for safe, efficient, and reliable operations within the Business Management System, regulations and standards.

Typical work tasks include wellbore stability predictions, pore pressure and fracture gradient predictions, finite element modeling of reservoir and overburden, and reservoir rock mechanics.
