At Mitsubishi Power Americas, headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida, the team builds clean energy technologies for a better future. The New Generation Services team supplies replacement capacity across Gas and Steam Turbine Platforms. The Supply Chain Cost Management Team sources equipment globally for Americas region projects.
The Contracts Administrator supports Supply Chain Management Execution initiatives using initiative and independent judgment. Collaborates closely with Global Sourcing, Supply Chain Project Managers, Proposal Engineering, and Commercial Operations. Ensures seamless Purchase Order placement and turnover to project execution teams for large items.
Daily work involves reviewing RFPs, performing risk analysis, tracking open items, and monitoring customer-specific contract requirements. Works with NGS Estimations team to provide technical instructions and review SCM estimates. Facilitates document sharing and verifies supplier activities across project phases.
This role drives post-PO action closures, evaluates equipment schedules, and identifies bundling opportunities for Framework Agreements. Contributes to portfolio views of projects in a collaborative energy environment. Provides commercial support to advance power project fulfillment.
Requirements
- Experience supporting domestic and international Power Project activities
- Knowledge of Gas and Steam Turbine Platforms supply chain
- Familiarity with Purchase Order placement and project turnover processes
- Proficiency in RFP review and risk register management for power equipment
- Ability to track proposal exceptions, clarifications, and Q&A logs
- Understanding of EPC contracts, consortium documents, and Grid Code compliance
- Skills in evaluating equipment schedules and site-specific code requirements
- Competence in Master Document List confirmation and supplier verification
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Proposal Engineering, Projects & Systems, and Commercial Operations for seamless Purchase Order placement and turnover to project execution teams
- Lead or assist in addressing commercial Supply Chain Management and project execution concerns during proposal phase
- Review and analyze RFPs related to equipment and auxiliary equipment
- Perform risk analysis review, identification, and contribution to the Risk Register
- Track open items for each proposal and Purchase Order issuance
- Monitor customer-specific options or contract requirements and associated costs
- Work closely with NGS Estimations team, provide technical instructions, assist in Direct Labor estimations
- Facilitate turnover meetings to Supply Chain execution team for each project NTP
