Parkes, AU · Full-time · A$180,000 – A$240,000

About this role

As a Mining Engineer – Studies, you will play a key role in delivering high quality mining studies that support major business decisions across project stages, from concept through PFS and FS. Embedded within a collaborative Technical Services team, this role offers rare exposure to underground block caving studies, strategic Life of Mine planning, and a large scale expansion project.

Working closely with geology, geotechnical, ventilation, and operations teams, you will contribute technical analysis, mine designs, schedules, and clear reporting outputs that inform safe, value driven outcomes. A strong focus on ventilation inputs within block cave studies suits an engineer with developing or established ventilation capability keen to build depth in technically complex environments.

You will collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team alongside highly experienced block caving specialists. The role involves contributing to mining studies including timelines, work programs, and technical inputs across underground hard rock mining contexts.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your studies and strategic planning capability.
