About this role
Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. The company delivers bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services to Tier 1 clients. A new project is about to commence and experienced plant mechanics are required to support the fleet.
Mechanics will perform servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT and Hitachi models. Daily tasks include diagnostics and fault finding along with general maintenance, breakdowns and component change outs. Required inspections will be conducted to maximise equipment utilisation.
The role sits within a growing team of experienced mining professionals that invest in their equipment. Work is performed on Mineco owned and operated plant at the Moranbah site. A strong culture promotes people and takes pride in deliverables.

Requirements
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry
- Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
- Demonstrated experience with Liebherr, Hitachi and Cat large earthmoving equipment
- Diagnostic experience
Responsibilities
