Supply Chain & Inventory Professional

As part of Sandvik's Powder Solutions division, the company supplies customers in over 40 countries. The Supply Chain & Inventory Professional ensures efficient, timely, and cost-effective flow of direct materials throughout the organization.

This role oversees supplier performance, sourcing activities, inventory control, logistics coordination, and system optimization. Professionals manage supplier schedules, refine material flows, anticipate supply risks, and expedite critical deliveries. They align administrative processes with material movements to reduce waste and bottlenecks.

Key duties include developing RFQ processes, leading supplier contract negotiations, and building strong supplier partnerships. Inventory and logistics management involves planning direct materials, ensuring customs compliance, and monthly reconciliations. The role supports uninterrupted supply and efficient practices for raw materials and finished inventory.

Systems optimization features leading local ERP upgrades, coordinating training plans, and improving traceability. Work closely with US and international supply chain teams to mitigate risks and establish standard processes. Ensure compliance with local legislation and Sandvik processes while contributing to organizational goals.
