Mine Operator - Open Pit

OceanaGold is a growing mid-tier gold and copper producer with operating mines in New Zealand, including Macraes and Waihi. This key role contributes to the achievement of gold production targets in the open pit. It involves driving heavy machinery and earth moving equipment as part of an effective shift crew.

Operate large mining vehicles within the Open Pit operation, performing pre-start and shut down checks to ensure high safety standards. Load and transport rock to the processing plant while maintaining housekeeping of vehicles and loading area. Communicate with a wide variety of mine workers and contractors.
