About this role

The Supply Chain Assurance Manager reports directly to the Director, SCM Performance & Enablement. Works with internal and external stakeholders including Operations, Compliance and Ethics, Security, HSE, Audit, Suppliers and Service Providers. Implements and maintains risk mitigation, assurance and supplier compliance programs to comply with government regulations and company standards.

Drives simplification and standardization in supplier assurance activities and leads digitization efforts. Manages a team of Supply Chain professionals. Ensures company and regulatory compliance standards for supplier master data while integrating with business partners inside and outside Cheniere.

Optimizes processes to drive transactional efficiency, compliance, continuous improvement and value delivery. Collaborates with cross-functional teams using exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Works self-directed with a proactive approach in LNG, Oil & Gas or pipeline operations environments.

Provides hands-on leadership, coaches team on quality of work and career development. Influences senior leaders for alignment and resources while supporting innovation amid market challenges. Ensures timeliness and quality of supplier assurance work to meet operational needs.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of supplier master data collection, validation, record management, SOX, drug and alcohol programs, governmental regulations
  • Knowledge of LNG, Oil & Gas, or pipeline operations
  • Expertise in assurance programs including supplier qualification, TWIC, Industrial Safety Training Council, drug and alcohol testing, background checks, OQ, HSE programs, supplier performance and quality management
  • Experience supporting internal audits and vendor financial audits
  • General knowledge of insurance requirements, financial assessment, procure-to-payment lifecycle, ERP transactional environment
  • Ability to work self-directed, independently with collaborative, proactive approach
  • Exceptional problem-solving to collect, analyze data, identify issues, recommend solutions
  • Outstanding written, verbal, interpersonal communication to build relationships with cross-functional teams
