About this role
Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This role ensures proper operation of equipment, drives operational efficiencies at the work site, and completes accurate job documentation in a timely fashion. Daily responsibilities include reading work orders, inspecting equipment and work areas before jobs start, and correcting deficiencies to prevent accidents or harm. Supervisors perform preventative and corrective maintenance, operate necessary equipment safely, and provide industrial services using established methods and regulations. They manually clean, install, fit and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and other project equipment.
Lead safety meetings, ensure company policies are followed, and instruct crews to meet client requirements and deadlines. Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and processes, provide feedback, and enforce employee policies as needed. Maintain housekeeping, check equipment at shift starts, and safely operate vehicles per U.S. DOT rules.

Requirements
- Understanding of equipment maintenance and ability to perform maintenance utilizing supplied breathing air and applicable PPE
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment in service line per operation training and safety procedures
- Knowledge of local, state and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Experience providing industrial services using handwork or manual work per established methods
- Proficiency in leading safety meetings and enforcing company safety policies
- Skill in manually cleaning, installing, fitting and repairing valves, caps, hoses, pumps and gaskets
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, organize and coordinate daily operations of the service line crew
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes
- Inspect equipment and general work area prior to starting any job and correct deficiencies
- Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes
- Instruct, provide feedback and direct crew to complete work per client requirements and company policies
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required
- Complete all appropriate paperwork including service receipts and submit to management
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state and federal requirements
