About this role

At Nexans, our global vision is to electrify the future. Electro Cables, a Nexans company, is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to support operations at Trenton facilities. Report directly to the Supply Chain & Purchasing Director PWR Grid&Connect NAM in a cable manufacturing plant environment.

Lead the end-to-end supply chain including inventory management, capacity planning, procurement coordination, warehouse operations, materials flow, and people leadership. Own inventory strategy and execution for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, packaging, reels, and critical production components. Maintain appropriate stock levels to support production.

Requires regular interaction with production areas, warehouse operations, office teams, suppliers, and logistics partners. Requirements

  • Experience leading supply chain in cable manufacturing plant environments
  • Expertise in inventory management for raw materials and finished goods
  • Knowledge of capacity planning and materials flow optimization
  • Proficiency in procurement coordination and supplier management
  • Skills in warehouse operations and logistics in production settings
  • People leadership experience in supply chain teams
  • Familiarity with production interactions and inventory control in manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain including inventory management, capacity planning, procurement coordination, warehouse operations, materials flow, and people leadership
  • Own inventory strategy and execution for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, packaging, reels, and critical production components
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels to support production
  • Ensure the plant has the right materials at the right time in the right quantity
  • Balance customer service, production efficiency, inventory control, and working capital objectives
  • Coordinate procurement with suppliers and logistics partners
  • Interact regularly with production areas, warehouse operations, and office teams
