Requirements

7-10 years mine and tailings planning work experience in the oil sands industry
Experience with leading mining and tailings regulatory compliance reporting
Undergraduate degree in Mine, Geological or Civil Engineering
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulatory requirements (Directive 082, Directive 085, etc.)
Familiar with developing civil scope including drainage and road designs
Able to make rational decisions and recommend change in process to achieve objectives
Promote learning from past experiences and incorporate management-of-change principles
