Requirements

1 year experience operating equipment
Willingness to work night shift
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
Commitment to a drug/alcohol-free work environment including mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing

Responsibilities

Operate haul trucks safely and in accordance with company procedures
Report any operational hazards to the Supervisor
Ensure the haul truck is operated for reliability (O4R)
Operate the haul truck productively while maximizing machine life and machine performance
Communicate via 2-way radio during operations
Assist in mine support activities as necessary
Perform pre-shift inspection and document appropriately
