Ensure safe work behaviors in a mining environment and compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policies. Support safe and efficient production targets by operating underground mining equipment. Perform manual labor including clean-up, shoveling, scaling, bolting, hardware management, brattice installation, and extensible belt setup.

Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Positive safety behavior and safety leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour intensive team environment, as well as independently
- Stable work record
- Previous experience in an industrial environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe work behaviors in a mining environment and compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policies
- Operate underground mining equipment to support safe and efficient achievement of production targets
- Perform manual labor including clean-up and shoveling
- Conduct scaling, bolting, adding and reclaiming hardware
- Install brattice for ventilation
- Set up extensible belts
- Play a critical role in ensuring your own safety and the safety of others
