About this role
We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our hauling team. In this role, you will coordinate all truck and driver activity, manage routes, communicate with drivers and customers, and use routing software to drive efficiency across operations. This fast-paced position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and managing multiple tasks with changing priorities. (45 words)
Monitor and track truck movements via GPS while updating systems as needed. Build and distribute daily dispatch schedules, assign trucks accordingly, and communicate daily with drivers and customers to meet expectations. Report issues including speeding violations, spills, breakdowns, and customer service failures. (38 words)
Track driver hours, flag shortfalls, and support compliance with DOT regulations. Forecast truck allocations weekly and communicate with the hauling group. Work a Sunday to Wednesday schedule at our Mansfield, PA location, ensuring timely communication via phone, text, email, and in-person. (41 words)

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in customer service and dispatching preferred
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal
- Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with routing software or GPS tracking systems a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Familiarity with oil and gas transportation or water hauling operations preferred
