About this role

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Mining Engineer to join our Open Pit team in Vancouver or North America. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop innovative, practical solutions that add value to clients' projects. This role leverages strong open pit mine planning skills and practical experience.

In this role, you will manage and deliver consulting assignments, serving as Project Manager when necessary. You will complete technical mine planning tasks within established timeframes and develop technical documents to efficiently communicate outcomes to clients. You will also maintain, build, and further develop client relationships as part of project delivery and business development goals.

Requirements

  • Strong open pit mine planning skills supported with practical experience
  • Experience completing technical mine planning and developing technical documents or reports
  • Ability to maintain, build, and further develop client relationships
  • Capability to manage and deliver consulting assignments, including serving as Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver consulting assignments, serving as Project Manager when necessary
  • Complete technical open pit mine planning tasks within established timeframes
  • Develop technical documents and reports to efficiently communicate outcomes to clients
  • Maintain, build, and further develop client relationships as part of project delivery and business development
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop innovative, practical solutions that add value to client projects
  • Provide technical expertise across the mining lifecycle from exploration through operations to closure
  • Ensure high-quality, data-driven solutions that improve client performance, resilience, and sustainability
