About this role

USG Corporation seeks Underground Miners for its Mine department on 3rd shift. Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting. Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum.

Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills to facilitate equipment performance. Record production data and other results in the manner required. Take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.

Work in a team environment as a team player with good communication skills among co-workers. Demonstrate ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks. Maintain regular and predictable attendance while adapting to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, overtime, and weekends.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience. Requirements

Some prior experience operating off-road equipment preferred
Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner
Possess a valid driver's license; CDL a plus but not required
Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment
Team player with good communication skills needed with all co-workers
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Must be able to pass ATF Employee Possessor clearance
