As a Mine Operator - Hauler, you will ensure safe work behaviors and compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policies. You will support safe and efficient hauling of materials and equipment for the capital projects group, including new belt builds, bin construction, and miner overhaul support. Your efforts contribute to efficient operations underground.

You will play a critical role in ensuring your own safety and the safety of others in a labour-intensive team environment. Work independently underground while demonstrating positive safety behavior and leadership. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal skills
Positive safety behavior and safety leadership
Good organizational and communication skills, motivated to work independently underground
Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment, as well as independently
Stable work record
Previous experience in an industrial environment

Responsibilities

Ensure safe work behaviors in a mining environment and compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policies
Support safe and efficient achievement of material and equipment hauling to support the capital projects group
Haul and sort materials for new belt builds, bin construction, miner overhaul support and all other capital operated projects
Play a critical role in ensuring your own safety and the safety of others
Operate haulage equipment underground to transport materials safely
Monitor and maintain safe hauling routes and load conditions
