About this role
AMC Consultants, now part of AFRY, is seeking a Principal Mining Engineer to join our Underground team. You will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions to clients across the full mining lifecycle. Our team combines over 40 years of mining experience with global engineering capabilities.
In this role, you'll ensure technical delivery of projects including risk and quality management. You will complete advanced underground analysis and develop reports for pre-feasibility, feasibility, and operations. You will also manage and execute these projects across diverse mining environments.

Requirements
- Experience in completion of advanced underground analysis.
- Experience developing technical documents for key clients throughout various project execution phases.
- Experience managing and executing underground projects in diverse mining environments.
- Demonstrate credible professional levels of work output.
- Ability to build, maintain, and develop client relationships for project delivery and business development.
- Knowledge of technical mining studies, life of mine planning, Ore Reserve estimation, due diligence, and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with reporting standards such as JORC, NI 43-101, and similar industry codes.
- Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng) or eligibility for registration in Canada.

- Perform due diligence, cost estimation, and reporting to JORC, NI 43-101, and similar codes.
