About this role

We are looking for a talented Bilingual Remote Mining Supervisor to join our central Canada team. This role supervises employees who install, service, and repair equipment and machinery in mining operations. You'll ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.

Coordinate schedules and align repair plans with customer quotes to optimize technician performance and complete repairs accurately. Provide first-line support for technical problem-solving, escalating issues as needed to maintain workflow. Oversee materials, equipment, and personnel for cost-effective operations.

Lead and develop your team of Service Technicians and Team Leaders through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews. Foster a culture of growth, accountability, safety, and quality. Manage conflict constructively to keep the environment productive under pressure.

Review repair quotes for accuracy and transparency while monitoring progress to resolve delays and meet customer commitments. Drive continuous improvement in processes to meet evolving mining client expectations. Enhance satisfaction by resolving warranty concerns and maintaining strong communication.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in both French and English, fluent and professional spoken and written
  • College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership
  • Readiness for extensive travel, safety-sensitive responsibilities, and deep understanding of mining operations
  • Financial acumen to interpret key indicators and balance cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Effective communication across diverse audiences for repair plans, updates, and team direction
  • Customer focus to build relationships and deliver solutions for mining clients
  • Technical expertise in diagnostics, electronic tools, documentation, and warranty processes
