Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
• High interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Flexible attitude with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and problem solve
• Proven previous experience in a similar role at a senior level or ready to develop into a leader
• Ability to promote positive safety performance and workplace culture through company values
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
• Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient mine schedules in coordination with long, medium and short term engineers
• Coordinate with other departments to tie in all aspects of mine planning for critical business objectives
• Coach and mentor Mining Engineers within the Technical Services department
• Promote and maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture
• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
• Work autonomously and within a team environment to meet deadlines and solve problems
